Dom Perignon, the Champagne, was first produced in 1936. It was at the abbey of Hautvillers, during the 17th century, that Dom Pierre Pérignon devoted his life to perfecting champagne and spreading its renown. Moet et Chandon which purchased the Abbey of Hautvillers produced a super cuvee which celebrated the Monk’s exploits. Richard Geoffroy, the Dom Pérignon Head Cellarman, has been involved in the preparation of Dom Pérignon wines since 1990. In only a decade, Richard Geoffroy brought the new vintage of this prestigious Champagne to a delicious note of “nacre” and smoke. A game of spirals” sprinkled with magic aromas of dried flowers, pineapple, cocoa, coconut, cinnamon and tobacco, with unique refinement and lightness.
